viper 791 instructions

can someone help with the supplied manual, i am having problems understanding, some items i have no problems with, but ie:

1. primary harness h1 12pin connector

** h1/1 orange (-) 500ma armed output (what is hooked up to this)neg. 500ma

input.

and few other stuff, i did go over to 12volt. search and but cannot post yet. can someone who has installed one, help me. thanks.

also are all the wires from all of the harness used?

The orange wire doesn't have to be connected to anything. It's used if you have a component that you want to be active while the alarm is armed; such as a starter kill relay. Since the 791xv has the starter kill function built into the remote start relay module, the orange wire doesn't need to be used. There will probably be several other wires left unused.

Sometimes the orange wire is used to power additional sensors like the radar/proximity sensor. That way when the alarm is on the sensor has power.

so for the orange wire, it means that it ' outputs (-)500ma armed output power to energized another unit like a 508d proxmi. sensor.?

too bad there is not a sticky thread for install a viper 791.

thanks dudes, for the most part i don't have a problem installing this alarm, but the manual can be more diversified on the installation step.
