Vinyl to Fiberglass. What to use to bond the two?

I've tried two different "glues" from the hobby store. Both were said to bond anything and be permanent. However, none worked. I need to bond vinyl to my fiberglass speaker pod, and I need it to STAY. Any ideas? I'd like to buy the stuff soon and get it done today.

Did you rough up the surface of the FG before hand with finegrit sand paper or steel wool? If not the wax on the surface of the FG will keep most anything from sticking. From there spray adhesive should work fine.
