Vifa PL 7" Midrange Comparision

I currently have two Vifa PL18WO17-04 7" woofers, but one of them has a dented dustcap and a somewhat creased cone. I cannot find an exact replacement anywhere, the closest I've seen is the Vifa PL18WO09-04 7" on Madisound.com. Judging from the picture it looks exactly the same as my current drivers, but the slight variation in model number leaves me hesitant to complete the purchase. I can not find a spec sheet on my current midranges, so my question is this:

Does anyone know the difference, if any, between the Vifa Vifa PL18WO17-04 and the PL18WO09-04?

i wouldn't buy it. different model numbers could mean a world of difference. id sell the raw driver and buy me another set if i could find the same one. i would ask npdang on diyma.com and see what he says. he knows just about everything

Thanks for the advice, I just found a spec sheet and the variations are minor but enough to make a noticeable difference.

were u at in florissant? i lived in chesterfield for 18 years and been there quite a few times lol
