^^ true this. Doesn't hurt try to salveage what you have. I have saved surrounds before, a very sharp chisel and patience....
You may be able to get smaller size CA glue from hobylinc.com for less. Also I have found some in Ace hardware stores called "hammer tite" or somesuch, thick CA glue with spray activator, about 8$ and more than enough to do up a 15"

Thanks for the idea. I'll def check what exactly is going on with it later and make the according decision.if a recone is in order tho, I'll definitely try to salvage what I can. I just find it hard to believe that the seller had no idea that the sub was damaged...he sold it to me as a fly functioning sub...

Fi it is for the CA glue then... Well if he doesn't take it back that is. thinking about just going to a 12' or 2 12's for the civic trunk.

Well what do you want out of your sub(s)? What kind of music do you listen to? And what is your budget and space
