video ipod in car *problems

yesterday i put 1 video on my ipod and worked fine (mpg), today i put over 50 and it didnt work, i tried just putting that 1 video i did yesterday and it didnt work.

what i do is ... i add the mpg to the movies list, press sync ipod .. after it is complete i look on my ipod and it is blank. but mp3s still work fine.

anything im doing wrong?

after i get through this step, i have a kenwood 7017 + ip500 w/e .. will it even work?

I believe they must be in MP4 format or MPEG4

so i got them to mp4 format but my kenwood wont play the mp4's through the ipod
