well I wanted 15's and wanted to try something different besides alpine subs. I just hope those p3's really slam compared to my alpines

From what I have experienced, the P3 are not comparable to Type R's. I have never heard them in decent enclosures though, only shitty ones that my friend built.

The trunk was the only bad part but I got it pretty much fixed

Well I hope they do what I want which is to be louder if not I will have to look at the 15"alpines I'm very happy with them I have them in 1.8 cu ft each and it seems to slam pretty good also I'm running a soundstream TRA 1400.2 bridged @ 4ohms

Yes I know I should have also stated that I did not want to spend a bunch and my car has a pretty small trunk so I'm kinda limited if I want to run a ported box. If I could have what I want I would get some MMATS juggernauts

Hide some wires on the next insteak ok? so much cleaner and takes like zero time.

I wouldnt expect a big increase in output going to the p3's they dont get very loud, the type r's in a slightly bigger box with a better amp would be MUCH better. check out some of the R setups on here, they can slam pretty good
