Veteran's Day

I just returned home from having lunch with my son at his school, they have a luncheon for prior service members every Veteran's Day, when one of us walks into the cafeteria, all the kids applaud, and say thank you for your service to our country. Now I may be a tad sentimental, but it warms my cold lil heart that these kids are being taught to show respect to those of us that have answered the call to duty. That being said, an early Happy Veteran's Day to my brothers and sisters of the cloth, BDUs that is. 2nd/138th Field Artillery HQ, HQ Battery 13F.

We have a huge vets day assembly at my school. 100 plus former and current soldiers, really a special day for me. Thanks to all who have served us!
