Is output directly related to the RMS of a speaker?

The rms rating of a speaker is NOT going to tell you how loud it will be.

The rms power you give to a speaker will not tell you if it will be louder than another speaker.

The two 10s can and probably will be louder even though they will require less power.

Take this chart for example:

Notice how the SI BM was louder on average getting 500 watts than the w7 which was getting 1000. Power alone is NOT going to tell you which sub will be louder.

take them back and say you didnt like them and you want the L5 you will be much happier. and that box will sound like poo if you put different subs in it, because kicker designed it with those subs in mind so it is set up for them.
