i've owned DD 9500's, rlp's, AA's, TC's lower lines, earthquakes, many other heavy big subs and recently purchased my pair of RSD's for $180 (on sale) shipped from amazon...

getting 400rms for now, will get 2x that when i sell my amp and get one that puts out peak rms at 2 ohms...

for now i'm very happy...reason why is it weights like ~13lbs and it pounds and sounds great! i got them in my fiberglass boxes sealed and together they are very light...

again, for only 400rms and something that weights ~13lbs, i was shocked at its output and accuracy...

how many people out there are to the point in their car audio life where you want to get away from 40lb subs requiring 2000rms and want something more practical for everyday purposes?

thats kind of where i am at...been there, done that, don't need all that heavy stuff anymore...or maybe thats just me...
