Verizon Wireless to buy Alltel

Its sounding like its going to mean a lot to me, i have gotten two new phones with Alltel and havent had to give up my sweet plan. I bet once its verizon i'm stuck with my old phone until i feel like paying more a month.
I was going to give my phone to a relative while i was in Korea, in order to keep my sweet *** plan for when i returned, but it doesnt look like that makes much sense anymore.

Not sure when you will be in Korea or for how long, but this deal will not be final until the end of the year most likely, you should have up until then to renew your phone and contract at the good rate before it switches to Verizon.
