my uncle used to be real big into audio and said he had a pair of $800 veritos or vertas horns... anyone heard them ? feedback please.

Their name is Veritas.

I don't really know much about them, other than they used to make car audio HLCD with metal horn bodies. IIRC, the car audio horns were supposed to sound pretty good.

Are you referring to car audio or home audio horns?
