Ventilation

Soo...u know when your cruising down the road and if it feels stuffy or hot, u just roll down a window n get ventilation. Well look what I'm doing to my trunk. Ventilation...yea? I got the square fan in the spare tire area pulling air in and the rectangular ones mounted to a stock vent on the passenger rear quarter panel pushing air out. Opinions anyone?

My opinion is that you should have paid better attention in school (specifically when they were reviewing basic grammar and spelling).

Does your trunk get so hot that you need to force air through it? I've never had a problem with overheating in any vehicle I've owned...

Lastly, you do not need both a push and a pull fan. As long as you have adequate ventilation to exhaust the extra pressure one or the other will move the same amount of air.

Well...obviously yall don't live in Az where it gets to be over 100 degrees on a daily basis. Thanks for the input though. Oh and I wasn't asking about any advice on Grammer or spelling either.

Yes...your right. I asked for opinions. If I were to turn my A/C on, the cold air wouldn't really get to my trunk area and also the whole rear end is sound deadened so there isn't much ventilation...hence the fans

put a fan from the cab to the trunk then you will get ac in the trunk

I think this will complete the ventilation project for my trunk...next will have to be A/C for my trunk.

You realize 3, what appear to be 120MM fans, will do little to nothing in cooling a trunk?

It will if hes does a push pull in the rear deck that way the ac air can keep it cool my boy did that for his when he was livin in cali it worked great 2 to push on the drivers side and 2 to pull on the passenger side

Yea, and the spare tire cover. There was also a stock vent on the rear quarter panel that I added 7" fan too.

Hey CrossoverOre...I found a "hole" from the cab to the trunk. Actually not a hole but a rectangle. Apparently when buying a new Monte Carlo you had an option for a stock amplifier and they would mount that amplifier under the rear dash where this rectangular opening is located. So instead of an amplifier I mounted a 8" XScorpion Large Crossflow fan. Now the trunk has A/C. Thanks for the idea!
