ok.. so here are some pictures of the 'boot' door that I PLAN to have something mounted on. I guess the pictures give you more of a visual idea of how much space I'm working/not working with.

Wow, you really do have no space, thats a pain to get subs for I'm sure. I would consider maybe trying to get some Tang Band 6.5" subs, http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=264-832 Or their 8" model, http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=264-854 Good luck fitting something there, that is just such a tiny space.

Yeah the BOOT is totally non-existant with the seats up. When they're removed/folded up and rolled to the front of the cabin, it gives me about 1.5m / 4.921 259 842 5 feet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif to play with and would make things sooo much easier. But i don't want to lose the seats.

Bose, where/how would you think I could fit those subs you posted?

Would it possible to mount the subs inverted? (the magnet facing INTO the trunk area?)

I'm still pretty new to this, so I'm not sure how you would do it, but you can always mount them inverted.

I wouldn't recommend using the door as an enclosure. You'd have to make sure its completely sealed, and its really not worth it.

I was just looking at the work that Dynamat does.. it was pretty scary.

Would anyone have any other suggestions?

I spoke to a bloke at a car audio store here and recommended 7"x10" speakers hooked onto an amp?
