Sold Vaccuum tube amp project FS

Well...

My tastes sort of shifted from when I started this project, so it looks like I'm going to sell this EL84 amp. It only needs to have the pots mounted and wired, RCA jacks to be installed, and a new power plug on the cable. Maybe 20min of soldering work, nothing too difficult. I'll include the schematic in case you need to fix anything in the future.

The tubes shown will come with the amplifier - I also have a set of JJ EL84's that I'll throw in as well.

Some more information about it:

Power tubes - EL84's or 6BQ5's, running in single ended pentode

Input tube - 12AT7

Rectifier - EZ81 or 6CA4

Output transformers are wound for 8 ohms. As for power output, expect around 6wpc at full tilt boogie before the onset of clipping.

mayby im retarded or something but 200 bucks for a 6 watt amplifer? i understand vaccum tubes are somewhat antique so is that the reason its so expensive?

If no one was interested the first go-round I would have just gone down to RS and finished it with cheaper parts (if I was keeping it, I would have used better stuff from PE), but Njizm seems like he's going to purchase it, so it's a moot point now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
