what are you comments on the alpine V12 series?

They're made by Alpine.

They're gray.

They're nice amps.

They've been making them for a long time~heaps of amps have been labeled with the 'V12' emblem for a good while now....

Which ones, exactly, where you wanting to know about?

v12s = pwnage... ive had 2 of em.. mrv-t757 and my beloved mrv-1507... great sq, they can make any speaker get loud as hell.. solid amps that wont shut down. end of story

i had the MRV-1507. that amp was too solid. Never let me down, pushed my Type S's **** hard.never forget that amp. only reason i sold it was because it was not stable at 1 ohm.

Yeah that was the prolem with the 1507, not stable on less than 4 ohms... though if you could get your hands on 2 of em, a really good alt, some wire and 2 really good 15's or something heavy duty you could have one hell of a system.

Havent heard much about the MRD series... cept having a few little here and there e-nanny type problems.

TO ALL ALPINE USERS.............I had a CUR warning come on my amps yesterday when all my speakers cut out....it means current overload I guess....but what does that mean is wrong with my system.......what do I need to do to fix it.

Measure your speaker impedance - see if you melted some coils and are now lower ohms than they were. Otherwise just don't turn it up so loud.
