USPS can **** my ***!

so i sold the tempest to Ihaveallama... and he sends me the cash via paypal. i go and package it up all nice with tons of foam and all kinds of news paper and tons of crap. i get a box that fits it all, i use huge brass staples to keep it all together, and a few other percautions.

i go to the post office, and then i go to ship it out.

says itl be there next tuesday (from NY to texas) costed $19.

so tuesday comes. friday comes. next friday. 20 days later. still nothing, so i refund him his money and bite shipping. he said if it gets there hed pay me again. so finally yesterday it comes in the mail BACK to my house and they said "the recipiant refused the package" and say it will cost ME $10.

****. so i pay them, and im like WTF is this? it looks like you ****ing thew it against the wall and it rolled down a flight of 50 stairs!

they bent the basket flange a little, and the cone is just got some foam stuff on it (can be rubbed off)

otherwise it still works no problem beside the cosmetical bends on the basket roll there, and a little warpage on that side that i can bend down with a little TLC.

i hate USPS - they can eat shit. i used their little automated machiene thing to print the label since i was on lunch break and there was like 25 people in line. and it never asked\offered tracking or insurance. motherfuc*kers.

just got a package shiiped via ups and came untouched ...package came almost unscaved...

guess it all depends on region...

though they must have butt fu cked that to be in the shape that it was....

you said UPS he was talking aobut USPS.... i hate USPS also i usually try to ship UPS, cuz its so much easy to goto a post office cuz there are so many, and i couldnt find the DHL store

Ugh... "unscathed".

I've never had any problems with USPS but have had plenty with UPS and other shippers. They all have problems at one point or another.

I always do fedex. I prefer USPS to UPS. DHL/airbourne is always a good bet

But if the dude refused the package, I would probably make him pay the shipping and refusal fee...not your fault.

ups did anally **** a pair of e cone 10k's when i bought them from soundsgood...

the box was like half as tall as it was when it shipped, and one of the subs had the voice coil out of allignment - ****ers hit it real hard or something...

same thing happened with fedex once..cept they "lost" the package and about a month later it magically appears almost in bad of shape as req's box...but the box i bought was like in pieces...

neither company did shit about it so i use dhl

I hate usps. I already posted my thread about 2 days in a row I recieved stuff. And if you dont pay for fragile they are allowed to throw the stuff. I had 2 subs a kid sent me put them in DELL LCD monitor box. I look out the window for the postman at the normal time. I see him THROW it on my porch from about 6 feet away. I go out *****ing, go to post office *****ing about it, nothing they will do. Next day I ordered one of the expensive panasonic phones for my house. Sure enough I look out window and see him Throw it. I stopped using them sence then.
