In my experience I have not known one person who went into the Marines that deserves any respect. The ones I have known didn't go into the MArines to defend our country or freedoms, they joined to "kill me some towel heads" that along with this drives my feelings towards them.

I'm pretty sure that if I'm wearing body armor a dog biting me wouldn't affect me. Also, it was a puppy, it wouldn't hurt them if it tried.

And I never said anything about any other branch of the service, just Marines. I respect the Army, general Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard and National Guard, they do help and they are worthy of respect, the Marines are a bunch of over testosteroned, under sexed redneck hicks who want to kill people.

They are a specific branch of the Navy, being a Marine means you are in the NAvy, being in the Navy does not mean you are a Marine.
