Sold US AMPS/RE Audio AX 3200de amp blown!

Friend bought this amp new for around $900. Had it for a few months til he installed it. He had it running at .5 ohms and only upgrades he had was the big 3 in 0 awg, 0 awg power/grounds, and 280 amp H.O. Alt....STOCK half dead battery and NO batteries in the back!!!!! Well, needless to say, 2 weeks later the amp blew (after dropping below 10 volts playing music). He said there was a burning smell in the amp but no smoke ever occured. The plexi has a "heat streak" on it where you can see kinda where it got hot. The board doesn't look burnt or anything.

He wants $350 + shipping for it. Has original packaging, etc.

I doubt it since he paid a very low price for it. I'm sure he didn't buy retail b/c the cost is like $2k plus if I'm not mistaken!

And in the pics, the plexi is NOT cracked....it just the plastic is still on the plexiglass like it comes new!

yes they are, actually they're .5 ohm stable with a nice electrical system.

He's getting the amp repaired as we were quoted around $150 to fix it!!!!
