Urgent help needed - PPI amp stability

Here are the amp specs:

250 x 2 @ 4 Ohms stereo

350 x 2 @ 2 Ohms stereo

700 x 1 @ 4 Ohms mono

The sub is a dual 4ohm...

Will a Precision Power Sedona 500ix hold a 2ohm mono load?

Doesn't seem to be, looks to be 2 ohm stereo and 4 ohm mono stable.

Yeah it says 4ohm mono stable, but sometimes amps can be pushed...just wondering if PPI was one of them...Not too sure on what the cooling system is like on the amp either...

It will run at 2 ohms mono. Only thing is most PPI amps will drop their output power as the ohm load decreases. For protection purposes.

I have been running PPI amps for about 6 years. I even ran one for about 2 years in 1 ohm mono to 4 12" subs. It would get warm but never shut off. That amp is still running my 15" eD sub today at 4 ohms.

I wouldn't reccomend wiring at 1 ohm mono. I just mentioned it to demonstrate what PPI amps will take.

What subs are you using with the amp and how many?

The Sedona Series wa PPI series of Entry Level amps. It's a good amp but I doubt you could run a 2 ohm mono load on it. 2 ohm stereo yeah. Its a good solid amp but I wouldn't run it mono 2 ohms..
