He doesn't need to admit it to the cop. The cop saw the two gun it, side by side. They were racing. Do you admit to a cop when you speed or fail to stop at a stop sign? Even if you say you did stop or weren't speeding, he still writes a ticket, and you usually end up paying it.

No going 50 isent a under exageration either.. it was like a 3 second deal, 35 to 50 and then i let off and see a cop pull out of a parking lot towards me, my friend in the passenger seat told me to jack the wheel and take off down some side streets cause the cop was like 200 yards back by the time he got onto the road coming towards me , and he didnt impound my car, he let me go and drive off as usual
My 1.6L POS will go from 35 to 50 easily within 3 secs. Don't tell me an Impala won't go from 35-60 in 3 secs.

exageration or not both are over the speed limit and he seen you racing the other guy, be glad he didnt take your car or sommething more drastic then what you got

MikeofTulsa might be able to help you out. He's fought plenty of tickets in court for his load being over the weight limit. They told him to lose the hefer or pay the fine.

Get an attorney definitely... without the speed being on the ticket from the radar you might have a chance.
Here in Florida we have ticket offices... pay a fine (usually $50-$90) and they guarantee no points or traffic school or your money back.
