Ups Ftw???

Well I got her installed tonight. Man that 0/1 is a pain to work with. I didn't really get a chance to set the gains and get everything setup properly, it was just kinda a quick get it installed type of deal. I'll be getting pics up tomorrow hopfully of the finished product. Right now wire is everywere and everything is torn apart.

Right now I can't notice a difference in loudness. I know I don't have the gains and what not fully adjusted but I thought I'd see a difference. I'm also not getting as much excursion as I used to. I had the gains slightly over 1/2 and couldn't get any good excursion out of the W7? Wierd, I'm hoping i just need to fine tune it. I had my truck running and didn't notice any dimming so I don't think voltage is an issue. Also the bass boast is at 0. Like I said earlyer, I really hope I'll get it all worked out tomorrow. I'd be pretty pissed if my $400+ amp didn't get any louder then the Kenwood POS I had in before!

If you have any ideas please share. I'll fine tune everything tomrrow and get back to you all with the results

I expect 600W+, and considering my Kenwood puts out 300 TOPS on its best day. I kinda expect a noticable change...

honest imo the 20.1 is a waste unless you are going to use it at .5 or lower.

adding power's not the greatest way to gain SPL. It works a bit, but it's rarely ideal and usually expensive for what you gain, even with power as cheap as it is.

words cant descibe the pain that i feel inside 2 see a 20.1 running at 3 ohms........but 2 each his own
