**** UPS and **** FedEx

my 9918 dd is only 50 dolla to ship :/ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I wonder why the hell they did charge so much though ;/ mt I just shipped costed 31 to ship via usps with delivery confirmation/insurance/and 2 rolls of tape :/

id prefer slow and cheap and not having to worry about the baggage handling monkeys that work at UPS.

i had a friend at a transfer station and he said they literally THROW and stomp anything marked fragile that wasn't insured.

DHLi dont think are that fast, and waht state do you live in george, there is no way, absolutly noooo way that it could be that much. maybe they thought you were shipping to HI, or Alaska? there is no way it could be that much, i shipped out a full MT nearly 90 pounds of it, and it only cost 40.

I shipped about 100 lbs via regular FedEx (not ground) took 3 business days, cost less than $60.

I sometimes wonder about these oddball prices....

just an update

went to 2 different USPS. both of them told my friend

"your package is over 70 lbs, its over the weight limit, we cant ship it"

i said "well where is the local UPS?

usps said "i believe they have a weight limit of 70 lbs too, i suggest going to the local postal annex to see what your options are as far as who will ship it and who wont accept the package"

me and my friend said ok.

went to the postal annex. weighed the thing sure enough it weighed 71.54 lbs

i said "give us the cheapest shit you got"

the lady said "well ups wants $111, and fedex wants" she paused and then said "$3xx"

and we almost went berserk. had no choice as "thelow" already bought the shit and sent the money. so we said **** it and shipped it out.

EDIT: pioneerpimp: california bro

edit # 2: checked again. so a little *** ***** on the fees from postal annex but none the less, ups still wants $76 for california to kentucky for 72lbs

and get this FedEX wants $56....did we just get anally rapped by postal annex?!?! is there anything i can do to get my friend some cash back? i wish i would of known the real weight of this package (i used 60lbs as a reference when i originally got an estimate online). i figured since its over USPS weight limit it will cost a shit load to ship with any carrier...maybe i shouldnt show my friend this thread...

im FedEx all the way now, they have done me right on everything over the past 6 months, and they are always cheaper than UPS, every time i check...plus their ground service is usually way faster than UPS...

and im not sure if this will be valuable to anyone or not, but just in case anyone wasn't aware...the UPS stores are always more expensive because they are owned by 3rd party individuals, so everything is inflated for their own profits...i sent 2 of the exact same thing with just about the exact same weight of roughly 24lbs, one with the UPS store and one with FedEx Kinkos, UPS was $42.xx with insurance ground and FedEx was $19.xx with same insurance also ground...thats when i made up my mind to stick with fedex...but thats me...
