Upgrading to 15s, need recommendations

So im looking for subs thatll handle the lows really well, and deliver nice amounts of pressure. My alpines are shredded completely around the coils, and im sure its due to the low note i always was concerned about, cause thats exactly when they both went. Ive been told that since im going with 15s i might as well make sure to get a 3" voice coil, ive never heard any subs with these personally so i wouldn't know, im hoping to spend around 250 per sub as well, and want something that'll last longer than 3 months. Im also thinking about putting them in a box tuned to 32 hz just so i can say its different than my friends 33 haha

the box build is key here. get good plans and assemble properly. store bought "claiming tuned " dont have enough port area that ive seen anyway

that said, my first though was some good ol sa-15" as the yardsale opened.. not sure of current stock though..

just realized i forgot to mention, that the sa-15" sub only has a 2.5" coil. that said, ive seen /read from people on this forum these subs take 1k+all day without breaking a sweat. (unclipped of course)

soundqubed hdc315 over the hds315 all day if you have the power.

i will indeed be building this box, ill have the stang do a plan for me, that being said, ive looked at both The soundqubed and the Sa 15s, but am not sure as of now, and i dont plan on upgrading the amp until this one decides to go

Yo, Already said this before way back then, you should Do a single beefy 18 in a very big, thick and well made enclosure. Get an HDC 4 18 and you'll never look back.

It'll get way louder than two mid to lower level 15s in a cramped box. Dont worry that JBL amp will push it fine and you'll still get waaay fking loud as long as your box is decently sized. When you put 4k on it later on, it'll just get fking ridiculous.

The hdc4 is next level sh*t compared to all your other choices to be honest. Get a real sub with a real motor/coil and you'll never look back.

If you have around 14 cubic feet gross, you can look into getting an incriminator audio death penalty 21"

never overkill when you have the ability to be the loudest system in your whole city. But yeah man, going from a 2.5 coil to a better 2.5" coil aint too big of a difference, quite a waste of money to be honest. If you are gonna upgrade, Make it an actual upgrade.
