Upgrading subs.... Need to know if I can

Well, we decided to stick with the current setup, and add the Memphis 4k and Mechman 250 pretty soon. The box is almost right at 10 cubes after ALL displacements. The thing I want to know is, can we swap out the Bl's and put replace them with loaded BTL's? Fi says the recommended box size is 5 to 8 cubes (per sub) so I should be fine. Also, with the Mechman 250 and replacing the wet cell batteries with some Kinetics, could we wire the 4k down to .5 ohms to give the subs about 6000 watts total, or would it be better to just wire it at 1 ohm and send 4000?

do you have any batteries to back that up? just a 250amp alt might not be able to back up 4kw

He already has 5 duralast batteries in the truck, but he's planning on buying a couple or 3 Kinetic 2400's to replace what he's got now.

Idk man........I would prolly wanna give them around a "true" 6000-7000 wrms with no worries.......I don't know much about the 4k, but I am guessing it is either modded or stable at .5 ohms?

Not sure about modded, but it has been blown once before because of not enough power getting to it, and the volts dropping to about 9.5. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif But he just got it back from a Memphis dealer that repaired it, and has yet to see power since he has got it back.
