Upgrading Help, please.

Alright, I currently have (2) 12" Rockford P2s hooked up to a 500wRMS amp. I like the sound an all, but I want somthing that pushes deeper, stronger bass. I was wondering what would be the best upgrade, without having to redo my stock electrical, at least for the time being. I've been checking out other peoples posts, and it seems like I kind of want to lean towards a set of RE subs. But would love to hear others opinions for sure. I have about $400 to spend, and my car is a 2001 Impala. Worst come to worse, I would be able to upgrade the battery under the trunk, or add one in the trunk. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

try and sell your current setup on craigslist and get more money. you need at least 700 for decent amp, sub, box, 1/0 wire, fuses, distros, etc.

I have my shit for sale right now on CL. I mean i'm not looking for no stupid crazy set-up right now. Just something thats deeper, maybe 750-1000w RMS if my stock electrical could handle that. I do want to upgrade eventually, do the BIG 3, etc. But with going to college an shit right now, I don't exactly have that much money. I figured I could get $500 tops to drop on somthing nice. Again, any help would be appreciated.
