Upgrading 08 Tundra

New to site and looking for advice. I have the upgraded JBL system with DVD/nav bla bla bla. Anyhow, I need to keep the factory H/U but I need some tunability and some more bass. I've been looking at a signal processor (Fosgate 360.2) to help clean up the sound but I have a few questions.

Does the 360 have the ability to filter the low frequency out of the factory speakers so I can send it specifically to the subs?

Can I use the aux outputs to signal another amp for the subs?

Is this even the right way to go?

Like I said, I'd like to keep it as factory as possible, I just need more options for the mid-high freq tunning and the ability to add a sub for the lows. No competition here.

thanks!

Bass excellence awaits you.

THE HARD DATA:

Contains one 8W7-3 subwoofer in a ported enclosure. 500 watt power handling. Wired for 3 ohm mono. Installs under driver side rear seat and requires no permanent modifications to the vehicle.

Pair that with a JL 500/1, should get you those lows nice and clean.

As far as the rest of the system goes, OEM integration shouldn't be difficult: http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_cleansweep_pages.php?page_id=94

If your looking to tame the range of the rest of the speakers, then your looking at an after market amp OR bass blockers, but those shouldn't be a concern. The sub amplifier will take care of bass only to fit your needs.

Most of this product will be some $$, but its clean, it sounds great, and its factory finish like you want for the most part.

Thanks for the info and I'll research the JL stuff a little more. I'll get back to ya! I can't do the prefab enclosure because I have all the factory JBL crap under the rear seats so I will make a custom box for the sub.

Need a little more info man. How much are you looking to spend altogether? Are you going to have it professionally installed or are you going to try it? (It's quite easy)
Sorry, bro.

Not too concerned with the price, I just don'e want a bunch of extra crap I gotta wire up and hide away. I'll be installing all the stuff unless it is very involved. I have some experience in competition but I've been out of this stuff for a while.

My main concerns are:

Keeping it as stock as possible to avoid the clutter

Clairity in the mid-highs

More clear specific bass

Ok, lemme try this a different way; here's what I got:

http://www.jbltoyota.com/toyota_tundra_doublecab/audio_advantages.asp

Now, if I install a signal processor(360.2 or whathaveyou), will it allow me more control of the sound to the factory setup or will I need to get more involved...as in crossovers, filters, another amp, etc? It could be kinda hard to tell at this point...I'm not sure how the factory amp is setup as far as crossover frequencies.

I guess what I was hoping is that someone here has experince with the new Tundra JBL system and has upgraded or messed with it.

Thanks for all the help so far! I'd be glad to do a search, I just dunno what to put as the search subject if you have an idea.
