I am currently running 2 x 12" Pioneer 1200W vccs subs with an Alpine MRD-M300 monoblock, and I have just purchased an Alpine MRD-M301 monoblock second hand. What I would like to know is that is the mismatched amps affect the sound quality. I did not think so. I also am running a Targa 1200W for two sets of mids. With the addition of the new amp will this affect my battery/alternator ?? I am running all this in a VW Golf 4. Many thanks for any help you could give me.
