I am currently running a Boston Acoustic 12" on about 300 watts, but I'm looking to upgrade in the near future. I'm looking for a good sq sub stage that can play respectably loud (I like clear powerful music, but I'm paying for the equipment, I don't care if anyone outside the car can hear it). I'm considering a couple of 8"s or maybe another, better 12" but I don't know much about the advantages and disadvantages of the two options. I am interested in recommendations of quality products probably somewhere around $400. If I need to upgrade my amp too that will be budgeted seperatly. So, what do you guys think 8's or 12?
P.S. I am not really considering 2 10's because I need some trunk space.
