Upgarding the Fubars, eventually

I just finished my box and I'm waiting on my knukoncepts amp kit. I have a Power Acoustik A2400db amp and two fubar 12's. I'm running the amp at 1ohm so each sub will get about 900 watts. (probably less than that) I know PA isn't the best stuff out on the market but I work for minimum wage so I can't have nice shit like xxx's and Fi's. I'm looking for a sub that I can afford that will really pound. I'm looking at spending around $400 (two 12s) anyone have any ideas?|

If your into Power Acoustik, theres allways the Mofo's. They are very loud and probely around or a little better sound quality as your Fubars. But for close to the same price, you can bag a pair of Kicker CVX's. They get really loud and sound good too. That is the route I would go, and they're only $300 shipped for the pair.

you can get stuff like that, i only make 6 bux an hour and look in my sig at what i have...and on top of that i have truck payment,gas and insurance payment every month.......save ur monies yo

Dude I'm still in school and I can only work about 27 hours a weeks and I got insurance so I don't have all that much money. I like the SSD's, i think i might go with those. But I'm not even going to think about kickers.

Why not think about the Kickers? I'm willing to bet they will be louder than those SSD's.... they were at the top of the 12" Subwoofer Challenge.

I'd take fubars over half the kicker line any day. And since I'm gonna have my fubars till I sell them, I'm gonna look for something a lot better than the "kicker" name>

That "Kicker" name you are refering to has been around for many many years. It is tried and true. Solid company that makes awsome equipment for good prices. A CVX is comparible to a L7 in output. It is practicaly the same sub but round. But don't take our words for it, jump on that FI band wagon and pay 100 dollars more for their lowest line of subs.

lets be real here.. The kickers will S*** all over the fubars... They arent even in the same leauge. What have the fubars, let alone any poweracoustik subs done in the lanes.. Nothing... But if your happy, all aswell.
