That "Kicker" name you are refering to has been around for many many years. It is tried and true. Solid company that makes awsome equipment for good prices. A CVX is comparible to a L7 in output. It is practicaly the same sub but round. But don't take our words for it, jump on that FI band wagon and pay 100 dollars more for their lowest line of subs.

OK fi's lowest line is actually the FI X...but seeing as though there werent too many people that were interested the took it off of the site

i agree with platestacker... i owned 1 CVX 15" and loved it... not sure about the SSD but can't go wrong with 2 12" CVX's...

have you considered rockford t1 12" ? i think there rated at 600w and pound pretty good but not sure about there SQ...

maybe MTX 7500 12"s ? i heard they were well worth the $$ and are rated at 450w

alpine type R 12 ? overall great sub with a greater price... rated at 500w

orion h2 12" ? pretty much SPL if what i heard.. rated at 2000w

boston acoustics g5 12 ? rated at 500w but i haven't heard anything good/bad about it... rated at 500w i think

pioneer 3004 12" ? rated at 750w and have amazing SQ and don't require a big box..

massive cw 12 ? pure SPL sub.. 600w

well i hope these suggestions open your mind up a lil...

get what facts straight? I don't want KICKER, I DON'T LIKE KICKER, I've heard comps, comp vrs, cvxs, and the L5 and 7. I've heard these subs in many cars with many different setups and I'm not impressed. I wasn't talking bad, I just don't feel like paying for something everyone else has. And I'll swear whenever the **** I want to so if you don't like it, don't read this thread.
