Not to mention Denver has Clinton Portis and Barry Sanders #2 in Quentin Griffin, maybe the Lions could work out a trade for him?
az hakim will be number 2. the lions almost ended that streak at denver 20-16. injuries i think happend to staley but they have artose pinner to back up stewart. before morningwig took over the lions were 9-7 and a missed FG from the playoffs so they just have to get there shit together and they'll be in the playoffs. took mcnabb 3 years to make it. now it's harrington's turn. what sucked this year was a terrible schedule. green bay twice minnesota twice at denver at kc at carolina at seattle home to st. louis and dallas all of those except minnesota were playoff teams so that is one hard *** schedule to overcome.
no one will ever be able to replace barry sanders. sanders should've been the all-time rusher not emmit smith
howard is tied for the all-time lead with brian mitchel i think

i'm just pointing out the fact that the lions had to play a 10-6 team and a 9-7 team twice. the only other team in denvers division that was good was kc who they lost too twice wasn't it?

you might have something there. if he makes wise desicions this off-season they will be in the playoffs. looked what happend in 99 when sanders left and the lions made the playoffs i bet everybody counted them out that year

Denver demolished K.C. in Denver on Dec.14,2003. 45-27 Clinton Portis ran for 218yrds. and 5TD's. Denver and K.C. tied the AFC West w/ 5-1 records!
i remember that game now. denver was never tied with kc because kc didn't loose till like they were 11-0 at cincinati. denever was second place all year and got embarresed by indy.
