I asked to be paid out on a claim before. However, they only pay out something like %70 of what they quoted me if I used an establshed (expensive) repair shop. Therefore not making it worth it to do the work yourself since there is little to nothing remaining afterwards.

Sometimes those estimates aren't always enough and you might need a supplement. Just keep that in mind if you are going to end up doing this yourself.

You might already do this but let a couple other collision shops take a look at it and get an estimate from them.
