Under seat amp mounting single cab 99 ranger

I got a 1,600 sony xplode and its got a whole trunk but still overheats.. its in a 240sx I just bought ... I haven't set gains myself or checked wiring.. but you may want to add a dc fan to it under there... it could just be my amp too.. fans are avialable online or at radio shack for a hair over 15 bucks. : )
You shouldn't have to add fans to amps that dont originally come with them. I've never over-heated an amp but i've gotten them hot enough to where you cant hold em, needless to say the amps still work, it got really hot because i was over working it. Most class d amps run cool, so having it under a seat shouldn't harm it.

I'd work backwards to find a sub. What are the dimensions for your box? Subs have certain ideal volume for thru enclosure. What amplifier will you...
