My '97 ford taurus came with factory tweets in it. I have installed Alpine type-s 5x7s in the front door and have them running off of my pioneer HU. My ? is, How many Ohms am I running, Is it possible that their is a cross over some were that I can't find? I want to add some new tweets and was just going to hook up to the wires already their. Will this screw anything up.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I think most factory/replacement speakers are 4 ohm. I highly doubt that it came with a cross over from the factory.

Not sure if that model of Pioneer deck has a built in cross over or not?

I think it is a pioneer DEH-1500 or close to that. One of the lower end ones before they switched to the blue backlight.

The cutting it off part is what I'm confused about now. The speakers in my car have two wires coming off of them but I would only have one wire on...
