ultra linear?

That amp is actually an older Concept CCD1200.1 in disguise, they share the same korean made curcuit board.

It will do its rated power and be reliable into 1ohm.

Some people might thrash the brand name but if it works, it works regardless of brand, price to performannce is all that matters.

As for the 17volt upgrade, you cant do it, you technically could but it would cost way more then you would ever want to spend, that amp will perform fine at 14volts.

A completely seperate electrical system is required, you're factory electrical components are not designed for 17 volts.

A second alternator with a custom voltage regulator and few pairs of 8volt golf cart batteries wired in series and then connected to the amp is a basic high voltage electrical system, this can be found in professional SPL competitors vehicles.

Ultra Linear stuff.... not so good. Used to sell the line and then when I had to many returns, I dropped them. The subs are absolute crap. Surrounds coming loose, spiders not connected tinsels half on etc etc. The amps, unnaturally fragile, dont bump them or move them alot, they don't like that, and watch out for summer time. The capacitors that UL uses are more prone to *popping* than others. Their boiling point is VERY low.
