Uhh... which is which?

I just got my dynaudio 240 MKII components today. Neither the tweeters nor the the midbass drivers have the terminals labeled. How am I supposed to figure out which is which?

dosent matter. adjust the polarity to your prefernce or mess with the phase on the amp.

As chubby said; it's something you should play with anyways. Just because the speaker's are wired in relative phase, doesn't mean they're actually in absolute phase (which is what's really important).

to the poster: the tweeter has a lable on the back with red and white. red is +

on the mid there is a sticker next to one terminal with the bar code and serial number also a red stripe. thats your +

Relative phase is how the speakers are wired. If all the speakers are wired Pos (speaker) to Pos (amp) and Neg (speaker) to Neg (amp), then they're in relative phase.

Absolute phase is the interaction of the sound waves from the different speakers at your ear. If the sound waves are out of "absolute" phase at your ear, cancellation will occur (which we all know is a bad thing).
