who doesnt like a fat ***:boink:I read a while back from Dan Wiggins (iirc) that neo motors aren't really any more money to build, but that they hadn't been adopted more yet due to heat issues and the simple fact that most people seem to like subs with fat *****.
Ive never run a neo sub, Id be concerned about heat saturation myself. But looks very cool, let us know how it works out (very well I bet).
the "heat issue" is the magnet losing strength because of the heat.. I'm not entirely sure that you would "notice" that per se... unless you were on a meter..i know fat ***** are nice and all but this thing is still crazy... this is the 3rd neo sub ive owned and ive never had heat issues, plus for the price i paid you wont even be able to buy regular TC3000 in a couple of weeks (this motor is 6 times stronger than a regular 3000 motor)... so i really like it for the money i paid, not to mention it weighs like 29 pounds:naughty:
well... ive played with the sub inverted quite a bit and have never even had the mag hot... of course, im also running like 300 watts:*******:the "heat issue" is the magnet losing strength because of the heat.. As far as I know, the magnet can regain its strength after it is allowed to cool properly.the "heat issue" is the magnet losing strength because of the heat.. I'm not entirely sure that you would "notice" that per se... unless you were on a meter..
