He never looked "Rocked" by an punches, but the leg was hurt and the triangle was close. Rampage was the more powerful, better puncher by far.

Edit: I shouldnt say better puncher, he was the stronger puncher

Never looked hurt the whole fight but in round 2, Rampage got just as close to winning as Forrest did, again it should have been a draw plain and simple...but they took this man title, again he was the champ, the UFC has gotta back there champ more, but like i said he didnt have a big enough following, From jump everybody was saying forrest, not many people gave rampage a chance his last 3 UFC fights, think about it...

He did what the champion is suppose to do, make the other fighter beat you, Ur not suppose to go all out if your the champ thats how u get k.o'ed in the first round..Forrest didnt do enough to win, period, other then round 2 he didnt do Sh!t...

Oh so because your a champion you get to sit back and have the other fighter do all the work... Come on man... A champion should have to work just as hard to win a fight... What did rampage do anyways to win that belt...hmmmmm lucky shot is how he won that title and now he should be put up on a throne because of it...

that slam did more than the choke and the decision was lame..if they are going to score it like that they should just put on head gear and put sensors in the gloves LOL reminds me of the Hammel-Bisbing fight...cheeseyyyyy also going to be real intresting how the UFC applies (if they even decide to) the new universal rules...if they don't there will be far less cross competition and it will kill the sport like no Fedor Emelianenko vs Couture because of the UFC monopoly contracts

You should not be able to out-point a champion to win a title. That is what happened tonight. Not attempting to finish for 2 1/2 rounds is unacceptable to win a unanimous decision in a title fight IMO. All griffin did in 4 & 5 was avoid a counter-puncher while getting cut and rocked numerous times in the process. I still believe it a draw. Neither did enough to win, and in that scenario the champ retains the belt

Agreed, Forrest played it smart and stayed away from the power, and capitalized on the damage done with the leg kicks in round 2. From then on Rampage was 1 dimensional and trying to catch Griffin with counters. Rampage intiated very little offense after round 2, and that is why he lost the decision.

You're given him the decision based on ONE round in a FIVE round fight. Rampage had Forrest to the point a couple times where he was dazed.
