AND THE FUKCING IDIOT DIDNT finish him, he could ahve had that ****ing fight won. I hate Rashad Evans, but he was right when he was telling rampage hes just a fukcing meat head. I lost ALOT of respect for Rampage, but the fukcing idiot gave up.

Rampage went into that fight WAY too one-sided, he didnt want to go to the ground at all.

jeez, if everyone wanted a slugfest go to youtube. these guys are PROFESSIONALS and Evans was the quicker, smarter, better prepared fighter tonite. Why would he just stand and trade with someone that has KO power? that would be STUPID.

I wasnt *****ing about rashad... I was *****ing about rampage how he rocked rashad had him pinned up against the fence and hurt and didnt finish him when he could have easily done it..

To me.. that wasnt smart fighting.. but maybe it is for you?

It was a boring fight,who watches a fight not to see a slugfest? That would be stupid? Both kept talking about knocking each other out and how many times did the ref have to break them apart? That right there tells you the fight was weak,little action. Maybe you should watch syncronized swimming.

there was plenty of action. strikes, takedowns. there wasn't a finish but both guys tried. Its not like you can just automatically create a knockout. these are high level fighters, it takes great skill to finish either guy. I mean Rampage hasn't been finished since 2005. Rashad has only been finished once EVER. Obviously its gonna be hard to finish either. They are both smart fighters that aren't gonna just stick their chin out and look to get hit. that would be STUPID.

Although i agree rashad was the better fighter by far (even though i was rooting for rampage), who the f*ck watches UFC fights hoping that the fighters rub each others nuts the whole time?

ok, to clarify, I LIKE FINISHES AND HOPE EVERY FIGHT IS A FINISH!!!! But at the same time I can appreciate a good gameplan and fighting smart. I honestly thought Rampage would KO Evans, but he wasn't fast enough to get those fists on Evans enough times for the KO. But I have to give it to Evans, his plan was brilliant and worked.

I mean people love Couture and he does a similar gameplan every fight without finishing anyone in a long LONG time.

on another note, I did submit something to mmajunkie about how the UFC fighters may be too good for the UFC's own good. Fighters are so good they cancel each other out and so spectacular finishes are fewer than say other promotions that have mismatches (like Bellator, WEC, etc.)
