I used to run 2 19", but they took up too much desk space. Single 24" now. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I did pretty much the same thing, finally got me a nice monitor and instead of putting the old on in the closet or whatever I figured just hook the 2 up.
As for running 2 different resolutions it is what I do and have never had a problem. 1680x1050 on the 22" and 1024x768 on the smaller monitor. Third is my truckcomputer when I was setting it up 10.4" TS only at 800x400 though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
I don't think I will ever go back to having just one monitor now, 2 is just soo nice. Makes sooo many things much easier whether doing research and typing, or Autocad and reading or 2 drawings each on their own monitor or just being a nerd and playing world of warcraft with a browser open on the other monitor.
