Yup, I'm even nerdier than some of you realized. Found a extra monitor while cleaning the closet and went and bought me a $3 dvi - 15 pin adapter

Nice I love my dual setup, makes me much more productive such as being able to play monopoly and troll the lounge at the same time.

My video card is sli compaitble, so is my mobo, I think I may be able to get 4 monitors up and going. I have some old CRt's I could put up on a shelf behind here.

Just make sure you run the same resolution. I used a dual set up once and mixing the resolutions ****ed shit up!

yea, i think im runing at 1280x800 or something like that, I never did get much into those super small resolutions, hard to see stuff on those.

most CRT's support that I think.

i had one of those KDS monitors about 3 years ago. good cheap lcd for the time. 19" and i think i only paid about $180 for it

we got them both for christmas like 3 years ago i do believe, walmart had them cheap.

for what I do, post on here do some photoshop and video editing, its all i need.

I somewhat use dual monitors, I use my main 21.6" widescreen for everything then I use my 26" LCD TV to play movies and stuff on.

I ran CentOS, Vista and XP on three different machines with three different monitors, keyboards and mice.. It was FTL no desk space left I am much happier running Vista on a dual setup and SSH into my linux box if I need some things done or just load up KDE and VNC in.

My mother's computer has dual flat screens (one 22" one 15")

Granted, I set it up so my sister could do her homework easier (look at research and type at the same time instead of flipping between pages). Works quite nice. If i didn't use a laptop, I would run a multi-screen setup too. Although there is a tri-screen macbook pro pprototype pic floating around the nets and Lenovo just released a dual-screen thinkpad.

I may have to upgrade soon if this trend continues.
