and if not, do they make quality products? i found an amp i was thinking of purchasing, just figured i'd ask if they were anything to steer clear of...

No, they're affilitated with Alphasonik.

The older amps (USA series and many USX series) are Zed made.

I just bought a Zed made Alphasonik/US Acoustics 4050. I am starting to love old school amps...less of that unecessary bling.

The new US Acoustics stuff isn't Zed made any more...so it lost a lot of its reliability. There are some threads out there where people list the brands they consider high/medium/low quality. Have you tried a search?

no they are not affiliated..and yes, US amps makes some great products. They also own RE audio....amazing subs

The only connection is a board that is shared on the Merlin line.

This was an awesome 6ch....You couldn't beat the crossover section in this amp.....

I have almost bought a couple different USA series on Thebay lately. Look on ampguts. the boards look so clean.

CRX-> Do you use that 6 channel? What is that thing rated at? Did not know they made a 6 channel.

Audiobahn bought Alphasonik several years ago, and there hasn't been an Alpha/US connection since then that I'm aware of.

US Ac does their own thing.

This was an awesome 6ch....You couldn't beat the crossover section in this amp.....

i just sold the same 6 channel. The only down fall for that is there was no sub input.

I love my old 2075,

I wish I could afford to snatch up a few more of the same series.
