It all depends on how you look at it. When you're in junior high/high school all the Myspace and Facebook crap that happens in the evening carries over to school the next day and becomes very real.
Imagine if you were at work and everyone was sending emails about you that were false. Some of these emails went to friends, or your boss. Would you not want to kick some REAL *** when you found out? How many ***** would you kick at one time if several people were involved? Just because you block them online doesn't make it stop and certainly won't keep it from carrying over to work the next day. But hey, why worry about it. They're just doing it online so it doesn't really matter does it? Your boss doesn't believe all that crap about you, right?
"Just block them" is about as moronic as telling some kid in a bad neighborhood to "just put down the gun, drop out of the gang, and everything will be ok" - the next day he does what you say and is capped before he makes it to the corner because he wasn't armed.
