Product Brand & Model:
As some know, I collect old school Japanese Sony ES. These are my favorite of all the sony es as it takes the technology from the XES amps and has a large copper divider going through the center of the amp making these true dual mono with all the benefits. Each channel is basically its own amplifier as there are two power supplies in each two channel amp. Nichon caps and expensive components used throughout. They are also powerful, clean and 1 ohm stable. I would compare them with any amps at any price range.
For sale are two matching sony mobile es dual mono amps. A g2100 and g260. 1 ohm stable and 2 ohm stable bridged.
Lots of power. g2100 is fused at 30x2 amps and the g260 is slightly smaller and fused at 25x2 amps (like the big red Sony Es Im selling).
Specs:
Power output and total harmonic distortion per channel minimum continuous average power at 12.0 volts into 4 ohms, both channels driven from 20-20,000 Hz with no more than 0.03% total harmonic distortion per Car Ad Hoc Committee standards.
Circuit system: OTL (output transformerless) circuit Pulse power supply.
Inputs: RCA pin jacks.
Outputs: Speaker terminals. Speaker impedance: 1-8 ohms (stereo) 2-8 ohms (when used as a bridging amplifier).
Minimum rated power for the g260:
60 watts per channel (20-20,000 Hz, 0.03% THD, at 4 ohms)
120 watts per channel (20-20,000 Hz, 0.08% THD, at 2 ohms) 170 watts per channel (20-20,000 Hz, 0.1% THD, at 1 ohms)
240 watts (monaural) (20-20,000 Hz, 0.08% THD, at 4 ohms)
340 watts (monaural) (20-20,000 Hz, 0.1% THD, at 2 ohms)
DYNAMIC OUTPUTS ( closer to actual numbers):
160 watts per channel (at 4 ohms)
300 watts per channel (at 2 ohms)
420 watts per channel (at 1 ohms)
600 watts (monaural) at 4 ohms
840 watts (monaural) at 2 ohms
The g2100 12v rated specs are
100x2 at 4ohms
180x2 at 2ohms
210x2 at 1 ohm
360x1 at 4 ohm
420x1 at 2 ohms
DYNAMIC OUTPUTS:
230 watts per channel (at 4 ohms)
380 watts per channel (at 2 ohms)
500 watts per channel (at 1 ohms)
700 watts (monaural) at 4 ohms
1000 watts (monaural) at 2 ohms
This amp (G2100) was benched and provided a little over 600 watts bridged at 4ohms and about 700 bridged at 2 ohms. For a good idea of true continuous power look towards the average between the 12v rated and "dynamic" power.
Condition of all items:
Very good for the age. No plastic covers. Minimal light scratches. See pics.
Work perfect and was just taken out of my car yesterday to pay some medical bills.
