I've heard with proper electrical but I don't know if I trust it. I've yet to hear anyone on here or any forum actually running them at that load.

Mmmmh, so with that said, people have actually ran them strapped at 1 ohm? I should give them a try to see how they do daily, I am strapping 2 @ 1 ohm to 1 dc level 5 18.

I've been waiting for someone to actually try it. Someone has to be the guinea pig for ya know. I talked to someone who did it for one comp. But he didn't run them daily like that.

I would run it for burps at shows , but not daily . I have one and wouldnt try to run daily at .5.

I thinks he means he wouldn't run his 1 amp at .5. Same as having your 2 amps at 1 ohm strapped

1 ohm strapped is 0.5 ohm per amp. Obviously not the ohm load the manufacturer recommends. If want to blow your amps up do. Take vids.

For burps + imp rise strapped at 1ohm will do , but not for daily is what i was meaning .

So if I strap them @ 2 ohms, then that would give me a final load of 1 ohm to a sub thats dual 2 ohms? Can wiring the sub to 1 ohm be possible when I strap them to 2 ohms? So the final load could be 1 ohm to a dual 2 ohm sub?

if the sub is dual 2 ohm you can only wire it to a one ohm load and 4 ohm load. thus each amp seeing either .5 ohm per amp or 2 ohm per amp. i would suggest you need a different ohm load on your subwoofer.

If you strap the amps at 2 ohms, each amp will be seeing 1 ohm. You need a D4 sub or two D2 subs.
