Two Dual 2 ohm CVRs + Kicker ZX 750.1

I finally got my two dual 2 ohm Kicker CVRs for my Kicker ZX 750.1. How should I wire these? The shop wired each sub in series to get a final 2 ohm load at the amp. Is that the correct wiring? I've seen two 2 ohm set ups but I'm not sure which one to use.

or

I got a number with a DMM from the subs and I got 2.1 for each sub. Does that mean my amp sees a 2 ohm load? Thanks..

This is the way to wire it.

And each coil should read 2.1, if that's how they're reading.

Okay. Its just my subs don't seem much louder. I used to have dual 4 ohms running and I was only getting half my amps power. I got the dual 2 ohms now and it sounds almost the same. I was wondering if the wiring was right. I got a read of 2.1 ohms per sub so does that mean my amp sees a final 2 ohm load?

I used a DMM and hooked it up to the sub box terminal cups and I put the pos to pos and neg to neg. I got a read of 2.1 ohms for each terminal cup. Does that mean my amp sees a final 2 ohm load?

No. You should see 4ohms per terminal cup.

Here is what you did, and need to do.

What you did - - - hooked it up like it showed, almost.

What you need to do - - - pull the woofer out of the box. The jumper cable(the one that connects the extra negative and positive) needs to connect the positive and negative of DIFFERENT COILS. Example : Dual 2ohm woofer like you have. Positive negative on one side are "coil 1", the pos and neg on the other is "coil 2"

Connect the negative to coil 1 to the positive to coil 2. Then, connect the positive from Coil 1 to the positive on the terminal, the negative from Coil 2 to the negative terminal.

Do that for each woofer and then run the positives and negatives together from the terminal.

Understand? Your jumper cable has to connect the coils. You can not use the pos and negative from coil1 and jump the pos and neg from coil two together. You will only see 2ohms and the second coil is doing absolutely nothing.
