Two crossovers on amp?

Hey guys, I recently purchased a used amp from a friend with two 12" SVC insignia subs. They sound good (in his car) and thats all that matters to me. I can't reach him at this time and was wondering what to do with my amp's crossovers.

Its got a LP cross and a HP cross, both selectable between 45-300hz. For running my subs off it what should I set the crossovers to?

Lowpass is to set which frequency goes to the sub.

Highpass is if you were running a component set and wanted to block bass from damaging the mids.

set lowpass at 80hz give or take and the highpass you can turn off or set it to a low frequency like 20hz

your subs probably wont go real low so if it has 2 crossovers that can be set independently you should set the high pass at like 20 or what ever your subs start sounding bad at.
