yes, it begins to lose cone damping once you go below the tuning frequency, but that doesn't mean all output is all of a sudden lost...it'll roll off and like i said should in general still have decent output down to ~28, but it depends

Cuz mine is tuned to 32 and it doesn't do too well under that.

ill try 30hz... and see if i need to trim them down to tune them higher.

I would definitely say that is the way to go. If you design the box to fit a port tuned really low, you can always shave off port length to tune it higher. Kinda hard to go the other way around
