Two 15's; Tumult

You're like a slow leak - people hear you but they can't turn you off.

Didn't you just post that same crap on SIN ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Well, scoreboard says: INTERNET 1, BELOW 30 0.

Well, I got a reply from Adire after asking for a box design for 2 tumults looking for ultimate LFE......straight from the horse's mouth here, below 30......
"Thanks for the e-mail! I'd for maximum extension, I'd look at 8 cubic feet

(after driver, port, and bracing displacement), and tune to 14.5 Hz with a

30 square inch port that is 40 inches long. This should be fine for up to

800W per driver (it's a big box, so you don't need much power).

Thanks again,

Adire Tech Support"
Did no one see this?

Box recommendations straight from Adire............doesn't get much more "factual" than that........

But I guarantee Below 30 won't reply to this post by me either.........

Anyone know if he reached the gates yet? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/satan.gif.9c6a335ed7aeeed3ee273e573f1fcaac.gif

The installed speaker setup, should be the next.
It will come in time. I've only been home from deployment for 3 days.

Isn't it funny people, even though your followers of Helex, don't you see how he says things just to be negative, even when he has no facts. The Romex is 300v, not 120v. The Romex is good for over 30 amps, not 12. Romex is the stuff running your entire Homes electricity, how in the hell could it handle 240v main power running into your house and not handle a simple audio amplication.
I was just using the number you gave. I can't be bothered to waste my time to look up the rating of Romex. Voltage ratings mean precisely squat. Current ratings are what matter. You said 1800W @ 120V that is 12A. 12A @ 1 ohm is 144W. Your numbers. Romex sucks as speaker wire. It is used to carry house current because it is cheap, fidelity of the 60 Hz AC is not a factor and it doesn't need to be flexible. Do you know anything about anything even related to audio? Physics? Life?

So by his logic, speaker wire that is used for lamps, is better designed than wire that carries power to your house. He's basically saying that if you touched a speaker wire while your amp is on, you'd get a bigger shock than wire designed to carry 300v. Any person over 10 years old knows your just jealous you didn't think of using Romex. It's over kill for audio specs, it's way cheaper and you can fit lower gauges into connects, that won't accept the same gauge of stranded wire.
Once again showing that you know nothing about electricity. Current and voltage are two totally different things. Current melts wire, trips breakers, runs speakers. Voltage is the potential to create current across a load. Resistance of the human body is pretty high. Need a lot of voltage to create enough current to shock a person. Wall socket has that voltage, amp output generally doesn't. It's called Physics, look it up. And yes multistrand OFC (lamp cord is not OFC if you even know what that means) is better than the wire that carries electricity through my house (also not OFC) for the transmission of fidelity audio signals.

It's cool that your negative, but get facts like that straight. The man who posted his box pick with the altenator, nice box. Just like you though, Ima go off on it. That box is tuned to 72Hz and it makes creaking noises when you listen to radio commercials. I see the game you guys are playing and Ima play too.
My facts are quite straight. My that's especially childish, even for you.

So post your pictures of what ever and I'll be there with a review based on no facts of it. It should be fun.
And see here is where you lost it all. We have facts, and all of our comments have been based in facts. It is you that have no facts so we would not expect anything coming from you to be based on them. Why start now?

He's too stupid to stay away, he'll be back in a week or two.
Anyone else totally immersed in anime that can place that quote he left us with? It's too psuedo intelligent to be his words and too lame to be from anything real.
I just noticed that your location has changed. Finally back home?
