the BM's are punchy as hell. i dont have alot of experience with the new mags, but the BM's are TIGHT. kick drums and punchy bass lines rock out with them.

if you are looking for output, consider this as well...

2 12"s has more surface area, the BM's have higher BL, a higher Q, a lower MMS...

A decent 15 should have no problem handling rap and rock and any other sub bass needs you require of it.

This is a tough call.... I say BM's since we don't know much about them and could use the research data.

But if it was me, I would take the 15" Mag.

The BM's were designed to be used in pairs (hence the dual 4 Ohm VC's), but even from a single driver standpoint, the BM's deliver tighter bass than our Mag's do. With the design on paper both the Mag's and BM's should deliver equal SQ but in reality the BM's are slightly punchier than our Mag's are. ...and trust me, a LOT of Mag owners that I've talked are having a hard time believing this but it is true.

Hoss's BM's are scary. The authority that he posesses by having 8 12's is a given...but what isn't a given is how transient the little suckers are! Hoss's truck is something you just have to experience to have any idea what I am talking about. Posting about it in text relates NOTHING to people compared to sitting in his truck.

But anyway, when you get the BM's in let us know what you think about them.
